Digital Storytelling with Maps: CartoDB
Thursday, April 16th 2015 – 6:30-8:30pm; Room C196.02
This workshop will introduce basic concepts in geographical information systems (GIS) using the open source CartoDB platform. It is meant for beginners who are new to GIS and looking to get started but aren’t sure where to begin. It will cover some of the basics of working with geospatial data and how to create basic map using points and shapes.
The workshop will be hosted by Alice Lynn McMichael and Keith Miyake.
