Data Visualization 2
Thursday, November 6th 2014 – 6:30-8:00pm; Room C196.02

After the brief overview of visualization presented in the last workshop, this workshop will explore interactive visualizations, using D3 and related libraries. Data Visualization artist and designer Sarah Groff-Palermo will demonstrate the more detailed capabilities of web-based interactive design and data visualization technology and lead students in exploring them in a hands-on setting. Combined with Data Visualization I, these two workshops will provide attendees with a deeper level of hands-on experience and new avenues to explore in their academic work.
