Please join us for our first workshop of the Spring 2013 term:

Social Media and Academia: Creating Digital Research Communities. Wednesday, February 13th 2013 – 6:30-8:30pm; Room C196.01

This workshop will introduce various aspects of social media as solutions or initiatives for creating communities around research. We’ll explore how to use the CUNY Commons, WordPress, Twitter, Tumblr, and Google Groups to find or create online research communities across CUNY and other universities. The workshop will be hosted by Andrew G. McKinney and Laura Kane.
