The Graduate Center Library blog has posted audio highlights from its Spring 2014 event, “Share It Now or Save It For Later: Making Choices about Dissertations and Publishing,” a panel addressing issues of releasing a dissertation as an Open Access file or embargoing it. The panel specifically tackled the question of whether an embargo could affect future opportunities for publishing the dissertation as a book. Speakers include librarians, authors, and publishers.
